Herohato Shipment Policy

At Herohato, we understand that receiving your carefully selected plants in pristine condition is paramount. Our shipment policy is crafted to ensure that your precious greenery arrives safely, efficiently, and as healthy as when they left our care. We encourage you to thoroughly review this policy to understand our shipping procedures and your responsibilities when receiving plants.

1. Order Processing and Preparation:

  • Order Confirmation: Upon placing an order with Herohato, you will receive an order confirmation email detailing your purchases. This email will include your order number, a list of your items, and your shipping address. Please review this email carefully to ensure all details are correct.

  • Processing Timeframe: After your order is confirmed, our team will begin processing it. This process usually takes between 1 to 3 business days. This time allows us to meticulously prepare each plant for its journey, including careful inspection, proper hydration, and specialized packaging. Please note that during peak seasons or promotional periods, processing times may be slightly extended. We will always communicate any significant delays in processing time.

  • Plant Inspection: Prior to shipping, each plant undergoes a thorough inspection by our horticultural experts. We assess the plant’s health, ensure it is free from pests and diseases, and that it meets our rigorous standards for quality and appearance. If a plant does not meet our high standards, we will contact you to discuss potential replacements or alternatives.

  • Specialized Packaging: To protect your plants during transit, we utilize specialized packaging materials designed to minimize stress and physical damage. This includes:

    • Sturdy Boxes: We use durable cardboard boxes to withstand the rigors of shipping. These boxes are chosen based on the size and number of plants in your order.

    • Secure Plant Fixation: Inside the box, we use various methods to secure plants, preventing them from shifting during transportation. This may involve eco-friendly packing peanuts, foam inserts, and breathable cushioning wraps.

    • Moisture Retention: We take extra care to ensure that the plants remain adequately hydrated during shipping. Depending on the needs of the plant, we use materials that can retain moisture and prevent drying out.

2. Shipping Methods and Estimated Delivery Times:

  • Carrier Selection: Herohato collaborates with reputable shipping carriers known for their reliability and track record in handling live goods. We will select the appropriate carrier based on the size, destination, and urgency of your order. Our primary focus is to choose options that provide the quickest and safest transit times.

  • Shipping Options:

    • Standard Shipping: Our standard shipping option usually delivers within 3 to 7 business days, depending on your location within the continental United States. Please note that this time frame is an estimate, and actual delivery may vary due to external factors.

    • Expedited Shipping: For customers who require faster delivery, we offer expedited shipping options that typically deliver within 1 to 3 business days. Expedited shipping is more expensive and may not be available in all locations.

    • Local Delivery: We offer local delivery within a specific radius of our location, which may vary. This option is often more affordable for customers within our immediate area, with a delivery timeframe of 1 to 2 business days.

  • Tracking Information: Once your order is shipped, you will receive an email with a tracking number. This number allows you to monitor the progress of your shipment through the carrier’s website. We recommend checking your tracking information regularly to stay updated on the estimated arrival of your plants.

  • Delivery Time Variability: Please understand that delivery times are estimates and are not guaranteed. We are not responsible for delays caused by weather conditions, carrier errors, or any other factors beyond our control. We will, however, do our utmost to keep you informed of any significant changes to delivery schedules.

3. Shipping Costs and Considerations:

  • Shipping Cost Calculation: Shipping costs are determined by a number of factors, including the weight and dimensions of the package, the distance to the delivery address, and the shipping method you select. The total shipping cost will be displayed during the checkout process before you finalize your purchase.

  • Free Shipping Offers: From time to time, Herohato may offer free shipping promotions for orders that meet a certain threshold. Details on any free shipping offers will be clearly displayed on our website and at checkout.

  • Additional Shipping Fees: Additional shipping charges may apply for shipments to remote areas, oversized or exceptionally heavy packages, or for any requested special handling. 4. Geographical Shipping Restrictions:

  • Domestic Shipping: At present, Herohato ships primarily within the continental United States. We are continually assessing our shipping capacity and may expand our coverage in the future.

  • International Shipping: Due to the complexity of international agricultural regulations and shipping protocols, we currently do not ship plants outside of the United States. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and recommend checking local laws if you are not in the United States.

  • Limitations: We cannot ship to P.O. boxes or military APO/FPO addresses. Please ensure you provide a proper physical street address for shipping.

5. Receiving Your Plants:

  • Inspection Upon Arrival: Upon receiving your package, please inspect it immediately. Check the outer box for any signs of damage or mishandling. If there are visible signs of issues, take pictures before opening the box.

  • Plant Condition Verification: Once opened, inspect each plant carefully. If you find any damage, such as broken leaves or stems, or if you notice signs of disease, please contact us within 24 hours. Include pictures of the damage and a detailed description of the issue.

  • Responsibility Upon Delivery: Once the delivery is confirmed, and the plant has been received in good condition, the responsibility for its care falls upon you, the customer. We are unable to take responsibility for the plants after delivery. Please make sure to follow the plant care instructions we provide and research the specific needs of your new plants.
